Free Premier Weekend!
This weekend, from Thurs evening (1/27) through Sunday at midnight (1/30), any client can use Premier Art for free in their projects. The exciting thing is that now basic clients can continue to work on any project with Premier Art in it, even if they don't have a current Premier account. You can not add Premier Art if you are a basic client, but if you have started a project with Premier (like this weekend!) you don't have to publish it by the end of the weekend. You can continue to work on it until it's done.

A special Club HM bonus through 1/31: For the remainder of January we are offering an introductory incentive for Club HM signups--get the first month of the 70 point level for only $40, or the first month of the 150 point level for only $80!

Club HM-- A New Option
The first seven years of a company are the time when it makes changes and finds the best way to promote it's mission. Our mission is "to strengthen home and family through the power of story." In order to have stories in our homes, we need to publish! As consultants, we have been asking our leadership to find a way to help us simplify our offerings for our clients. Last fall, we changed from buying products ahead to buying points and using them for whichever product we wanted. Now we have a continuation of that idea, adding the ability to get points at a great price and spread the cost out for those of us who want to publish consistently.
Benefits:
Purchase points at wholesale (essentially a consultant discount of 25%)
Free Premier each month (with all the Premier benefits--YEE HAW!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Monthly investment vs. one large sum
All dollars invested go toward projects (points)
You choose your level of commitment
15-35% discount on any extra points you may need
These benefits are huge for those clients who want to publish projects consistently and not worry about needing to invest one large sum. I love this new option because every dollar a client invests in Heritage Makers goes toward publishing!
You can choose from three price points (each plan includes free Premier):
$30 for 40 points per month
$50 for 70 points per month
$100 for 150 points per month
The minimum commitment is for three months. After that you can allow the system to auto renew each month or discontinue. If you discontinue, you can sign up for Club again when you are ready.
If you sign up for Club HM and have any Premier left on a previous membership, you will get 10 extra points per month until your previous Premier runs out (to "reimburse" you for your previously purchased Premier.)
***There is a one time *optional* purchase of 100 points for $50 with a first time Club HM sign up. That's a 50% discount!
Example:
At $30 per month, you are able to publish 480 points over the course of the year and have free Premier (a savings of $100). Even if there is a month or two that you don't work that much, you are not losing any value as all your money invested is gaining points to use on your projects.
If you don't think you'll need that many points, you are only committed for three months, so if there is a larger book or canvas project to do that will work in that time frame, $90 for 120 points + free Premier is a better deal than renting Premier for three months at $35 and then having to purchase the project on top of that. If there are leftover points, you can always use them toward other projects in the future as points don't expire for two years.
You can still choose to be a basic member for free and rent Premier like before (I've clarified below). Club HM is just a way to invest in your memories and publish on a consistent basis at a deeper discount! Let me know if this is an option you would love to pursue!
Happy Memory Keeping!
Rachel
PS. One other change: Instead of having monthly sales on products to purchase ahead of time, there will be additional discounts on publishing certain products. See the announcements on the HM website, or check the publishing specials page on the upper left of the blog.
Previous membership options that are still available (with one great change!)
1. Basic Membership--(still free) This is the same as before and gives a client access to the basic artwork and the Studio software. The one change is that previous Premier members who have let their account go back to Basic can still work on and publish projects that contain Premier art--even if their Premier has expired. That is great for those who just want to get Premier here and there and still work on the projects when they don't have Premier. You can't add new Premier art to a project if you aren't a Premier member, of course, but you can continue to work on the project itself. Then, if you want more art, you can add Premier again when you want to.
2. Basic Membership + Premier--this is like the Club Premier of the past year, but with a different name. You can add Premier to your Basic account in 1 ($20), 3 ($35), or 12($100) month increments. This is the same as before where you are, essentially, renting the Premier Art Library and getting the other Premier benefits. When you need to publish a project, you still buy points through me. There is a 5-10% discount on points with either basic account depending on how many points are purchased.

You thought the publishing deadline was past? NO WAY! You can still publish regular items with expedited shipping, but the date for canvases has been moved out to December 11, so you still have almost a week to make a special canvas for a gift if you want to!!
Also, there is a buy one, get one half price sale on the canvases, with an extra discount of 10% off at checkout when you order by Dec 11. Here is a link to the flyer:
http://hm.myvoffice.com/pdf/en/DECCanvasSale.pdf
If you don't have a particular photo you want to use, there are a number of canvases you can just order straight from the gallery without further customization--click and give! That's it! Easy and fast. If you want to customize them to match a recipients decor, then just do a little color switching and publish. A quick and easy, yet meaningful gift in just a few minutes.

What Can I Make In 4 Days???
The Christmas publishing deadline is Dec. 2. That means there are four more days to make and order a meaningful Heritage Makers project! What can you make in the next four days?
I made my first book in about that amount of time. I decided I wanted to make it right before Thanksgiving, and the deadline was about the same. I had good intentions to do it over Thanksgiving weekend, but you know how holiday weekends go. SO, I found myself staying up late and working on it right up until the deadline. I finished in the nick of time.
Can you make a book in four days? You can if you really want to!!!
What if you want something a little less intense? Here are some ideas:
Canvases--in all sorts of sizes: 8x8, 8x20, 16x20, 20x20, 20x24 Deep Wrap: 18x18, 24x18
These are lightweight, beautiful, and can hang directly on a wall.
Prints/Posters--5x7, 8.5x11, 8x8, 12x12, 11x14, 18x24
Design a special print or poster, buy a frame and you're done--or, decopage onto a ceramic tile for a special gift.
Playing Cards--Sub in 52 photos in a pre-designed template!
Calendar--Add one photo (or more) per page and publish!
If you need some help, I'll be in Woodbury, MN on Monday evening working on my projects and helping clients. Email me for details.

Gifts in a Flash!
One of my favorite products to make, and a fabulous gift for family and friends, is a Heritage Makers canvas. These gallery wrapped canvases are quick to design and come ready to hang directly on the wall. The regular canvases come in multiple sizes (20x24, 20x20, 16x20, 8x20, 8x8) and the deeper wrapped canvases come in 18x18 and 24x18. They are an instant way to add personalized decor to you or your loved one's homes.
Here is a 20x20 canvas I designed for my living room.
I adapted the design from one in the template gallery.
Love it!!
The Countdown Is On
The countdown is on until the December 2nd publishing deadline for Christmas. Check out the digi-crop schedule (link to the left) to see what dates are set aside for you to come work on your projects or get answers to your questions. If you are new to the system, I can help you get going!
This year I made a list of everyone I'd like to give a Heritage Makers project to and what I was going to create for them so that when I sit down to work, I know exactly what I need to be working on. That has helped me to focus and keep me from wasting too much time dabbling around since I have a list of things to accomplish!
What Heritage Makers products do you want to make for Christmas? If you haven't purchased your products yet, drop me an email. I'd love to get you the best deal!
